# Santa Wishes

> Santa Wishes is a personalized phone call from Santa for a child, booked by a parent. Santa calls at the chosen time, knows the child's first name, age, wish list and a good thing they did this year, and has a real two-way conversation of three to five minutes. Finding out what the child is wishing for is Santa's main job: afterwards the parent gets Santa's notes with every wish the child mentioned, in their own words, with details and the one they want most, plus the recording and a transcript. $19 per call.

## How it works

1. The parent tells Santa about the child: first name and age, wish list, a good thing they did this year, something to gently encourage (for example brushing teeth or being kind to a sister), and any extras such as a pet's name, a brother or sister, or a recent big moment.
2. The parent picks a date and time (8:00 am to 8:30 pm local time, up to 90 days ahead), or chooses to press Call now from their private page, after which Santa calls in about 10 seconds.
3. Santa calls the parent's US phone number. The parent hands the phone to the child. After the call, the recording (MP3) and a transcript wait on the parent's private page.

## What Santa will and won't do

- Santa never promises a specific gift. He says he'll talk to the elves.
- Santa never asks for an address, school, last name or anything personal.
- Santa stays kind and magical throughout.

## Details people ask about

- If nobody answers, or the call drops in under 45 seconds, the parent can call again, up to 4 tries.
- The recording and transcript are kept for 30 days, then deleted. The parent can delete them sooner, which also deletes the child's details.
- The parent is the customer. When booking, they confirm they are the child's parent or guardian and agree to the call being recorded for them. The recording is kept only for the parent.
- US phone numbers only.
- It can be given as a gift: the buyer enters the name and email of the person it's for, pays, and that person gets an email with a gift code. They pick the time and tell Santa about their child themselves. The buyer gets a copy of the code too. One code is one call.
- Schools, preschools and PTAs can share their own link (https://santawishes.app/?school=<code>), and 15% of what families pay through it goes back to the school. Schools ask for a link at hello@santawishes.app.
